Canada licensed Pfizer vaccination for children 12 years old
Canada is the first country in the world to approve the use of Pfizer-Biontech Covid-19 vaccine in children 12 years and older.

Data from a clinical trial in the US with more than 2,000 teenagers injected two doses of vaccines showed it safe with teens as well as adults.
Earlier, Canada licensed Pfizer-BionTech vaccine for people aged 16 and over in December 2020.
